Search and saved locations

Location searches run in your browser against the app’s downloaded location list. The app does not send the words you type to a search service or request your device’s GPS location.

My Watchlist stores location identifiers in your browser’s local storage so your choices remain available on later visits. These choices are not synced to a Fireban Pro account. Remove individual locations from My Watchlist or clear this website’s stored data in your browser to remove them.

Website delivery

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Website requests expose technical information such as your IP address and browser information to the hosting service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

Official sources and forecasts

Restriction, weather and wildfire data are downloaded from this website. Following an official-source or forecast link opens another website, which has its own privacy practices. Forecast links include the selected place’s coordinates, not your device’s GPS position.

Changes and questions

This notice describes the current version of the app. We will update it when the app’s data practices change. See the Contact page for information about reaching Fireban Pro.
